Fujitsu Service, today announces that it has sold its training division KnowledgePool, to Maxim Training Corporation ("Maxim"), a subsidiary of TomaNet. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Fujitsu Services Limited, KnowledgePool's parent company, recently completed the sale of Beaumont, formerly the site of KnowledgePool's headquarters and classroom training business. These divestments have streamlined KnowledgePool's business enabling it to focus on its strategy of providing corporates with a fully outsourced Managed Learning service
ARC Associates ("ARC"), a specialist investment banking and advisory firm to the TMT, financial services and property sectors, acted as a financial advisor to Fujitsu in the sale of KnowledgePool.
Commenting, Richard Christou, the Chief Executive said: "This transaction involved the sale of 5 different companies from both the UK and the US and was complex both in its cross border components and the mix of businesses. Achieving this sale on schedule and at a valuation consistent with the quality of the assets has been a real achievement"
