This disposal makes it possible for Fujitsu to further strengthen focus on their core area of business. Over the past year KnowledgePool has significantly reduced costs, restructuring headcount in line with market conditions. This has entailed moving from Windsor to Bracknell and closing its on-site classroom training, conferencing and managed services business. ARC Associates ("ARC") was retained by Fujitsu Services Limited to act as financial advisor on this transaction. Commenting, Richard Christou, the Chief Executive of Fujitsu, "ARC's capability in dealing with all aspects of the property components of this transaction added to their understanding of the technology business materially assisted with this sale which was achieved in a very difficult period in both the property and technology markets."
