Situation
AKJ Group Limited ("AKJ or the "Company") was founded in 1995 and is a leading provider of brokerage services using advanced computer technology and its own software platform and connectivity infrastructure.
The Company is one of the largest independent global Direct Market Access brokerages with infrastructure and technology to support order routing and connectivity to more than 50 exchanges worldwide.
Approach
ARC had previously provided a range of advisory services to AKJ including completing a comprehensive comparable company market research assignment that sought to provide information regarding the key trading and transaction multiples used in assisting AKJ to form a view as to the indicative valuation of its business.
For this current assignment ARC provided a view as to the indicative fair value of AKJ under different value assumptions to an owner or acquirer.
Assignment
ARC prepared a comprehensive indicative valuation report based on range of common valuation methodologies utilising forecast data provide by the company and determining synergistic benefits that may be realised by the company.
