Peter Tahany is a director of ARC Associates.

Peter Tahany joined in July 2002 from Durlacher where he was Head of M&A and advised numerous technology companies in the development of strategic plans as well as managing related transactions. He worked on a wide variety of convergent industry projects, including the financing and structuring of both start-up and later rounds of principal and third party investment, often sitting as non-executive director to assist in driving business models forward.

Peter has over 15 years of M&A and investment banking experience and has advised on a range of private and public company transactions involving companies, shareholders and governments in Europe, Asia and North America. He has developed a particular focus on structuring exit transactions for owner operators.

Prior to joining Durlacher from ICF, a new media advisory boutique, Peter worked for Daiwa Europe and Lehman where he advised on a range of corporate finance projects, particularly in the technology, multi-media and convergent industry sectors.

Before entering investment banking, Peter qualified as a solicitor and spent four years at Simmons & Simmons advising on intellectual property, banking and corporate matters. He is a graduate of Kings College, London University where he read Law.
