ARC Associates was formed in the US in 1988 and began its operations in the UK in 1993 to provide companies with specialised advice in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, valuations, public and private equity fund raising and in a wide variety of corporate finance and corporate development situations.

ARC's focus has been particularly on the Telecommunications, Information Technology and Media industries.

The firm has also carried out specialised assignments in the financial services and property sectors and for a number of other selected corporates.

All AIM companies (the LSE's global market for smaller companies from different sectors) are required to have a nominated adviser, popularly known as a "nomad". In our role as corporate finance adviser regulated by the Financial Services Authority and the London Stock Exchange, ARC has carried out a number of financial advisory roles for quoted companies.

Since 1994, ARC Associates has successfully completed over 40 M & A and corporate finance transactions for a total value of over $6 billion and various advisory assignments in all the major European markets (including the UK, France, Germany, the Nordic region and Spain), as well as in the U.S.A. and Asia.
