A management buyout team that operates in the technology sector has entered into an engagement letter with ARC Associates, www.arcassociates.com (“ARC”), a UK based investment banking.
The agreement anticipates that ARC will assist the management buyout team with a potential acquisition of a listed Network Technologies company.
The transaction has a potential value of circa US$ 200m and ARC’s role is to provide strategic advice throughout the entire acquisition process, identify potential sources of equity and debt finance to support the acquisition and liaise with all regulatory and stock exchange authorities as required as part of the transaction.
The management buyout team members have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the sector and have developed a new business plan that they are seeking to implement with the objective to significantly improve shareholder value over the next 3-5 year period.
