China MobileSoft Ltd ("CMS"), headquartered in Bermuda, has announced a further funding effected through a private placement to new shareholders managed by ARC Associates ("ARC"). CMS is an independent developer for mobile handset software applications, targeting principally China and other Asian markets. It delivers functionality to both existing Feature phones and the emerging market of Smart phones with operations in China and the US.
This fund raising arises at a particularly crucial time for CMS, enabling the company to continue to fund the development of its proprietary operating platform and related applications for designers and manufacturers serving the mobile phone market.
ARC acted as placement agent and financial advisor to CMS in this transaction. Commenting on this transaction, Madeline Duva, CEO stated, "ARC was able to combine a thorough understanding of our fast moving market with the execution expertise of delivering appropriate investors with the requisite profile on satisfactory terms, at this stage of our business model."
