July 2002 -  Fujitsu subsidiary KnowledgePool, sells Beaumont House and other property assets of KP Training to Hayley Conference Centres

KnowledgePool Limited, a subsidiary of Fujitsu Services Limited ("Fujitsu") today announces it has sold Beaumont House Properties Limited ("Beaumont") and certain property assets of KP Training to Hayley Conference Centres, one of the UK's leading owners and operators of quality independent residential conference centres. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. KnowledgePool is one of Europe's leading training providers. The disposal is part of Fujitsu's strategy of restructuring its business and disposing of non core assets in order to concentrate on the provision of outsourced managed learning services. ARC Associates ("ARC"), a specialist investment banking and advisory firm to the TMT, financial services and property sectors, was retained by Fujitsu in this transaction. Richard Christou, Executive Chairman of Fujitsu Services commented, "The transaction was essentially a large property deal with a business attached that ARC executed with alacrity."
