Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) has made a strategic investment of DM100m in KKF.net AG, of Minden. KKR was advised on the deal by ARC Associates. Vendor finance, from Nokia, is thought to play a role in KKF.net's overall financing plans. Prior to its interest in KKF.net, KKR purchased Bosch Telecom, in April this year. Renamed Tenovis, it will provide a service and sales network for the build-out of KKF.net. KKF.net is an SDSL provider of voice and internet access. It plans further roll-out of its services in 75 German towns by the Spring of 2001.
