March 2010 -  ARC client Coronation Power, a leading UK based wind farm developer, announces planning approvals

ARC Associates client Coronation Power has received planning approval for 15 wind turbines totalling up to 45 MW for onshore UK generation.

Coronation is a London based wind farm development company established in 2004 to identify potential sites for wind farm development throughout the United Kingdom. Coronation’s primary focus is on the site selection and Planning Consent elements of wind farm development, where it has been successful at selecting appropriate sites, securing land lease options over the selected sites and has executed  pre-sale options on a number of the  sites conditional upon Planning Consents being obtained.

In October 2009 it was announced that Planning Consents had been granted by the Secretary of State for two sites in Lancashire. The two sites approved were for a total of 15 turbines creating a total capacity of up to 45MW.

ARC continues to act for Coronation Power as financial advisor to assist it in developing its capital base to build on these significant successes.

“These projects have been the culmination of a lot of hard work for all involved and represent an enormous achievement for Coronation Power in its progress of creating a large development operation” said Vickram Mukherji, the MD of Coronation Power.
