Breakingviews is a UK based Company offering opinionated financial commentary and is distributed online and by newspapers including the Wall Street Journal in Europe and the US.

John Allen, Chairman of ARC Associates, joined the Board of Breakingviews after ARC completed a fundraising for the Company in 2000. John served on the Board for six years until he resigned in March 2007.

Over the period, the business grew considerably and became profitable.

It has become a respected source of financial commentary and a “must read” for professionals in the sector. Breakingviews raised further funds in September 2006 to assist in focusing on the development of the US operations.
