Investment in Ingenta

Ingenta is a provider of technology and services to the publishing and information industries which in February 2007 merged through a reverse takeover with VISTA International. The enlarged group was subsequently renamed Publishing Technology Plc and admitted to trading on the Alternative Investment Market ("AIM").

In April 2000, Ingenta obtained a listing on AIM through a £145 million reverse takeover of Delyn Group.

ARC Associates initially advised the Company in 1998 in its acquisition of the Bath Information and Data Services from the University of Bath and to raise the funding to complete the transaction. ARC then advised the Company on a private placement raised through existing shareholders in February 2000. The fundraising was aimed at accelerating Ingenta’s business activity in the international market.

In March 2002 the majority of the investment was realised with a small holding continuing to be held in the investment portfolio.
